TYPO3 Upgrade - Extension Update - PHP Update - Operating System Update
To rely on a secure and fully functional TYPO3 system in the future, your TYPO3 installation needs to run a version that offers medium- to long-term support.
The latest version is currently TYPO3 v13 LTS. “LTS” stands for “Long Term Support” and denotes the extended support period, which usually lasts three years.
Once support ends, no more free TYPO3 updates are provided for newly discovered security vulnerabilities.
Running an outdated version potentially exposes your system to automated or targeted attacks.

What our TYPO3 update includes:
We check the system components PHP and MySQL for compatibility with the new TYPO3 version and update them where necessary.
All extensions are checked for compatibility. We analyze whether compatible updates already exist for the extensions in use and can be installed. We also check whether functionality provided by extensions can now be replaced by TYPO3’s own modules or features, whether better alternatives exist, or whether the extensions need to be adapted for the update.
The TYPO3 system is updated step by step. When skipping several versions, all intermediate versions must be installed.
We perform the update on a separate system environment, so ongoing operations are not affected. You also get access to this environment, allowing you to explore the new system before it goes live.
