Then you might have encountered this challenge: While DokuWiki tracks changes when someone edits a page directly, it doesn't detect when content changes automatically - for example, when pages include dynamic content from databases, external sites, or other wiki pages.

Our new RenderRevisions plugin solves this by automatically incrementing the page revision number whenever the rendered content changes, even if nobody edited the source directly. This signals to other plugins and users that the content needs attention - perfect for:

• Triggering review workflows when included content has changed
• Ensuring approval processes catch all relevant content updates
• Maintaining compliance by making sure no changes slip through unnoticed
